Like pain, stress should also be viewed as a warning. So if you are extremely tense and anxious, you should try to establish what is causing these horrible sensations. It might be your job, or your parents, or your marriage, or the unhappy clients you are having. Whatever it is, the chances are that your stressful feelings are telling you to make changes. If you don’t try to sort out the source of your stress, then learning how to manage it will only do half of the job.
