Restaurant Review : Shiv Sagar, Janpath , New Delhi – 3.5/5 Star

Heard a lot about this outlet and its food from my foodie friends. So recently when I was in CP with family I decided to give it a try. I am a big fan of Delhi street food and like spicy meals. Compare to Delhi, Bombay ( yes, for me it is still Bombay ) street food is totally different. Less spicy with different flavour.
It was an early evening so we just ordered some snacks.

1.Vada Pao – It was just enough warm to eat. Portion size was too small. Taste average. (3/5)
2.Pav bhaji – Good taste but less spicy compare to Delhi version. (4/5)
3.Dhokla Papdi Chat – Portion size was good. Enough for 2 people. Loved it. (5/5)
4. Special Chinese Bhel – Something different. (3.75/5)
5- Kufi – Good taste. Must have (4.5/5)
6. Fruit Cocktail – Fresh Juice. Good taste. (4.5/5)

Ambiance : 4/5
Service : 5/5 ( Really quick )
Value for money : 3.75/5

And surprisingly they are also having branch on 6662 Southwest Fwy, Houston TX

Restaurant Review: Tesoro Mio, Preet Vihar, New Delhi – 4.5/5 Star

Hidden Gem.. really .. if you disagree.. read more than 200 positive reviews and more than 400 votes.
After long time I have seen such a peaceful place to eat. ( because there is no Bar ) Each nick and corner is decorated with passion and tastefully. Seating is comfortable and staff is humble and attentive.
They serve not only Italian but also serve Chinese, Mexican and Indian. I ordered several veg dishes and surprised with the authenticity of the taste.

Credit goes to the management who are so passionate about food business. Thumps Up !!

Writing a good review is not my cup of tea , but my photos speaks better than words 🙂 because I only shoot Tasty Food ….

Thru ur lens .. One can capture ur intense study of each dish n drink *Red never seemed so redder when seen in a berry cool drink *Salsa looked tangier in that dip dish *Never seen people thru caribbean sunrise glass even *the straws were twisting and turning at the click of your camera *all shades of bell pepper in the salad and paprika on hummus seemed to come alive you even did justice to our dressings the best is you evn captured our diya kept in a corner.. Thnxzs sir ..it was a pleasure sitting with you n seeing you click random pics ..they have come out real well.. Hats off sir

Restaurant Review: Elf Cafe & Bar, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi – 5/5 Star

Eat, Love , Fun…. ambience, atmosphere, vibrant, music, cocktails, food, hospitality, concept..innovative, Cartoons on the wall, focused lighting thru lampshades.., No doubt its my kind of place.

Extensive alcoholic and non-alcoholic menu and in case you are confused.. just ask for Bartender’s special Mocktail …….. its superb and very refreshing .

Food, .. just wow… wide variety of veg starters to choose from ( I am a vegetarian-:)

– Delicious Chili Paneer which was of extremely soft Paneer.

– Crispy from outside and creamy/soft from inside Dahi ke Kabab served with green Chutney .

– Creamy spaghetti with olives

– Pahadi ( पहाड़ी ) Menu was a surprise. मसालेदार Wai Wai with Tabasco Sauce was just great.

– Paneer tikka thin crust pan pizza with onions and paneer was OK type..

– In dessert , I had brownie with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate sauce.

Elf also hosts ‘ Live it Up’ , 7 to 10 pm .. a new concept where anyone can perform front of a live audience sitting in Elf..

Met Mr Swaraj, the man behind Elf. I really impressed by his energy and passion about food and hospitality.

– Pricing : 4/5 ( Slightly overpriced)

Restaurant Review: Mamagoto, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi – 3.5/5 Star

Visited Mamagoto on 3rd December for @zomato meat up and to review special menu prepared for us.
It was an opportunity to interact with fellow food reviewers of zomato family.

Its a unique place with good colorful decor and paintings. Mamgoto is known for their excellent variety Pan Asian cuisine.

From starters to the main course and desserts everything was excellent in taste and served by humble and polite staff..

Had a wide variety of special veg menu and I also tried their White Rum Cocktail and another whiskey based cocktail. Desserts were wonderful.

Overall good experience and made some good foodie friends.

Restaurant Review: Calcutta Biryani, Dwarka, New Delhi – 4/5 Star

So , Hunt for the perfect Veg Biryani ends here 🙂
After reading so many positive reviews on Zomato and specially by some foodie friends I decided to give a try.

Veg Biryani was so awesome that it reminded me some good old memories. Paneer Butter masala was so tasty ,smooth and buttery.
A must place for all Bengali’s of Dwarka Smile
